Homestuck Inspires Silly Projects

I wanted to animate a troll grub. Of course, I know nothing about animation or insects.

  

I am working just the grub's front leg for now. Eventually, I would like to have all the legs moving (including hints of the ones in the back). I have to figure out how the legs move together. To start this project, I did Google search on an insect's legs move.

I see now that I messed up. The grub rotates her leg much more than my so-called reference, a simulated insect.
